A mandate house, not a consultancy and not a distributor.
We sit on the supplier's side of the table. Our job is to turn a product with a real edge into signed contracts in markets the supplier cannot open alone.
Sell-side, exclusive, paid on results.
Most market entry fails for a simple reason: the supplier has the product, the buyer has the budget, and nobody in between is accountable for the contract. Consultants deliver studies. Distributors carry twenty lines and push whichever sells easiest. Agents without a mandate cannot commit the supplier to anything.
A mandate fixes the accountability. Mandeur represents a supplier exclusively in agreed territories and segments, for a defined period, with clear obligations on both sides. The supplier gets one partner who owns the outcome. We get the standing to speak for the supplier and to build a local team around the opportunity.
What we do
- Select products before they are obvious, and say no to most of what we see.
- Name target accounts, the decision makers behind them and the procurement route to each.
- Open doors through introducers and country partners who already hold the relationship.
- Run the opportunity through demos, pilots, tenders and negotiation together with the supplier's team.
- Build and manage the local partner network under one compliance standard.
- Report monthly: pipeline, meetings, next steps, risks.
What we do not do
- We do not hold stock, resell or take title to goods.
- We do not provide general strategy consulting or market studies as a product.
- We do not represent competing products in the same territory.
- We do not pay, or allow anyone in our network to pay, public officials for influence.
How we are paid.
Retainer
A monthly retainer covers the cost of a dedicated team and local partners. It is offset, up to one hundred percent, against the first commission. For strategic products we can agree a milestone-based retainer that starts after the first qualified opportunities.
Commission on contracts
For hardware and projects, a percentage of contract value, payable within thirty days of each payment the buyer makes to the supplier. Rates degrade for very large contracts.
Commission on recurring revenue
For software and services, a higher share of first-year recurring revenue and a smaller share in years two to five, for every contract signed during the mandate, including after it ends.
Exact rates depend on product, contract size and territory. The ranges are set out in the mandate term sheet we send to every supplier we take a serious conversation with.
Suppliers with an edge. Partners with standing.
On the supply side we look for products that are proven at home and under-represented abroad: public safety technology, digital government platforms, cyber security, and infrastructure technology where procurement or regulation shapes the sale. The company can be a listed group or a fifty-person firm; what matters is a product that a buyer would regret not having seen.
On the ground we work with introducers, closers and country partners: people who have spent years in a ministry, an operator or a regional integrator, and who are trusted by the buyers we need to reach. They are paid a share of the commission on the deals they help close, under written agreements and one compliance standard.
